01 / Who we areA game, and the person behind it.
This Privacy Policy applies to Medieval Household, also displayed as Medieval on your device (the “app”), and this privacy policy page. The app is provided by Anna Chernikova (“we,” “us,” or “our”), who is responsible for the personal information processed in connection with the app.
You can contact us at chernikova.dev@gmail.com. This policy explains current data practices and separately identifies Firebase services planned for a future update.
02 / Your game dataYour chronicle lives on your device.
The app does not require registration or a game account. Your character and family names, campaign progress, settings, saved chronicles and checkpoints are stored locally. We do not operate a developer game server or cloud-save service, and we do not receive your saved chronicles automatically.
If you export or share a chronicle, the app creates a file you choose where to save or send. That file can contain names and other information in your campaign. Your chosen recipient, storage service or cloud provider then handles that copy under its own policies. Campaign exports do not include your verified purchase ownership or advertising settings. Device backups are controlled separately by iOS and your Apple settings.
The app does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, health data or precise GPS location. A fictional name is sufficient for your character.
03 / Unity AdsHow advertising supports the game.
We use Unity Ads to show banner ads, occasional interstitial ads and optional rewarded videos. Unity and its advertising partners may process information when ads are requested, displayed or interacted with.
- Information involved
- Device or app identifiers, device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, approximate location derived from the network, ad impressions, clicks, video completion, attribution and diagnostic information, depending on the SDK, its configuration and your choices.
- Why it is used
- To deliver and measure ads, confirm rewarded-video completion, limit repeated ads, detect fraud and maintain the advertising service.
- Our current privacy settings
- The app configures Unity’s consent setting as false and its user opt-out setting as true before initialization. The current app does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission or access the advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not send your character name or campaign save file to Unity. Restricted advertising can still involve device, network and ad-interaction data.
Use the Data Privacy icon in a Unity ad, where available, for Unity’s privacy information and controls. The app’s advertising privacy link also opens Unity’s information. Unity’s policy explains its sharing with advertising and attribution partners, retention and privacy requests.
Ads Free removes every ad format. This optional permanent purchase removes banners, interstitials and rewarded videos. Once ownership is verified, the app stops further ad requests; cached ownership also prevents ad initialization on later launches. Requests already in progress and information already received by Unity may remain subject to Unity’s policy. Hiding rewarded-video offers alone does not disable other ads.
04 / Apple purchasesPayments go through Apple.
Apple’s App Store and StoreKit handle optional in-app purchases, payments and purchase restoration. We do not receive your payment card details. The app processes product and transaction identifiers, purchase status and verification information to deliver purchases, prevent duplicate delivery and restore eligible access.
These records are kept locally, including in device-only Keychain storage. Consumable purchases can include an order token and the information needed to identify the offered coin amount. We do not send purchase receipts to a developer-operated server. Apple processes transactions and retains its records under its own privacy policy.
05 / Planned Firebase servicesUnderstanding play. Fixing crashes.
Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics are not integrated in the current app. The information below describes their planned purpose and possible data categories. We will update this policy with the actual configuration, retention and available consent controls before collection begins.
Google Analytics for Firebase
We plan to use Analytics to understand feature use and improve the game. When enabled, it may process app interactions and session information, app-instance or device identifiers, device and app details, language, approximate location and automatically recorded events, which can include purchase events. The exact events and advertising-related features will depend on the final configuration.
Firebase Crashlytics
We plan to use Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and errors. Reports may contain stack traces, app state, device and operating-system details, installation identifiers and diagnostic logs. With Analytics enabled, reports can include event breadcrumbs showing actions before a crash. Any custom information attached to reports will be disclosed when the integration is introduced.
These services are provided by Google. They are separate from local game saves. Adding them does not create a player account or a cloud-save service. We will obtain consent before collection where required by applicable law and explain how to withdraw it.

07 / Retention & deletionWhat remains, and for how long.
- Local chronicles: deleting a chronicle removes it from active play. Earlier copies may remain temporarily in rotating local recovery files until replaced or the app’s local data is removed. Exported files and device backups must be removed separately from the places you saved them.
- Purchase records: may be kept for entitlement verification and duplicate-delivery prevention. Keychain records can survive app removal. Apple retains its own transaction records separately, including where required by law.
- Support messages: are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request, handle follow-up matters and meet applicable legal obligations.
- Unity advertising data: is retained according to Unity’s policy and applicable provider settings. Use Unity’s privacy controls or contact Unity for provider-held data requests.
- Planned Firebase data: no app data is currently collected through these services. Analytics retention will be specified when configured. Google currently states that Crashlytics keeps crash reports and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems; the applicable policy will be checked before launch.
Removing the app stops further collection by that installation, but does not automatically erase information already held by service providers. Contact us for help with a deletion request. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security or transaction obligations.
08 / Your choices & rightsYou can ask. We will help.
You can delete local chronicles, choose whether to export or share files, decline optional rewarded videos and use Unity’s available privacy controls. The Ads Free purchase removes ads as described above. It does not by itself determine the settings for future Analytics or Crashlytics features.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of a sale, sharing or targeted advertising where applicable. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send privacy requests to chernikova.dev@gmail.com. Please identify the app and describe your request. We may ask for information needed to verify and locate the relevant records, but please do not send passwords or payment card details. Because we do not have game accounts or a server copy of your chronicles, we may be unable to link provider-held installation data to your email address. We will explain any limits and help direct you to the appropriate provider. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
09 / Children’s privacyCare for younger players.
The app does not ask children to provide personal information or create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
Parents and guardians can manage purchases, device backups and app access through Apple’s family and device settings. Third-party advertising data practices are described in the Unity Ads section above.
10 / Security & transfersReasonable protection, wherever data goes.
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information involved, including local app storage and device-only Keychain storage for purchase records. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Protect your device and take care when sharing chronicle exports.
Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those safeguards may include approved contractual terms or other recognized transfer mechanisms, as described in the providers’ policies.
11 / This page & updatesA policy you can return to.
This page does not include analytics scripts, advertising, external fonts or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver the page and protect its service. Following an external link takes you to a site governed by its own policy.
We may update this policy as the app, its providers or legal requirements change. The effective date appears at the top. For material changes, including activation of the planned Firebase services, we will update this page and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
